The Acting Studio New York is located on the 14th floor at 248 West 35th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues in Midtown West Manhattan. We are just a two minute walk from Penn Station, five minutes from Port Authority Bus Terminal, and moments from the world famous Times Square and the heart of New York’s theatre district.
Our central location places us within walking distance of Hudson Yards, Macy’s Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, and the Drama Book Shop, making the Studio one of the most convenient professional training destinations in New York City.
Our Facility
The Acting Studio New York’s classes are taught in thoughtfully designed classrooms suited to the specific demands of professional actor training.
Each studio space is clean, well lit with both natural and incandescent lighting, and configured to provide privacy, flexibility, and multi functionality. The rooms are furnished with the necessary properties and equipment to support a wide range of acting exercises, scene study work, movement, voice training, and rehearsal.
Our classrooms are spacious enough to accommodate the ensemble, yet intimate enough to foster concentration, vulnerability, and the level of privacy required for serious craft work. The environment is structured to support focused training and to allow actors to do their best, most truthful work.
