The Acting Studio New York offers customized workshops for visiting schools, universities, theatre programs, and professional organizations.

For more than four decades, we have welcomed groups from across the United States and abroad for focused, conservatory-level training designed to meet the specific needs of each institution.

Whether your group travels to New York City or invites us to your location, our faculty delivers rigorous, professional instruction rooted in the Studio’s long-standing conservatory tradition.

We Host in Midtown West, Manhattan

Bring your group to our New York City facility at 248 West 35th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues in Midtown West.

Two minutes from Penn Station and five minutes from Port Authority, our central Manhattan location offers immediate access to the theatre district while providing the privacy and focus essential for serious actor training.

Workshops may be scheduled as half-day, full-day, or multi-day intensives.

We Travel to You

Founding Director James Price and select faculty are available to travel nationally and internationally to conduct master classes and workshops at your school, theatre company, or organization.

Each workshop is structured in collaboration with your leadership to align with your curriculum, skill level, and educational objectives.

Live Online Workshops

Interactive workshops may also be conducted live via Zoom from our New York City studio classroom.

All workshops are customizable. Structure, duration, and content are tailored to meet your group’s goals, schedule, and budget. Workshops are led by faculty drawn from the Studio’s professional conservatory program.
