Withdrawal from Class and Refund of Tuition

Any tuition retained by the Studio in accordance with this policy is not a penalty and will be held as non transferable account credit, redeemable for future Studio classes for which the student qualifies, within the stated credit period. In the event the Studio postpones a class start date or cancels a class, students will have the option to transfer their full tuition to a future Studio class or receive a full refund of all tuition and fees paid. In the event the Studio chooses to
dismiss a student for cause, any refund of tuition will be prorated based on classes attended.Class tuition secures a student’s place in a class, not attendance.

All withdrawals and refund requests must be submitted by email to: admissions@actingstudio.com. Refunds are calculated based solely on the date the Studio receives written notice of withdrawal, regardless of the last class attended. If only a partial tuition payment has been made, refunds are calculated based on the full class tuition or the applicable monthly installment. In cases of student initiated withdrawal, a non refundable $75 registration processing fee applies. Any bank or transaction fees incurred will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds for most Studio classes are calculated according to the
schedule below.

STUDIO CLASSES REFUND POLICY:

• •  Withdrawal 14 or more days before the first class: Refund of 100 % of tuition, less the $75 registration processing fee.
   
• •  Withdrawal 7 to 13 days before the first class: Refund of 75 % of tuition.
   
• •  Withdrawal 3 to 6 days before the first class: Refund of 50 % of tuition.
   
• •  Withdrawal fewer than 3 days before the first class or any time after the first class: No refunds, account credit only.

SIX-WEEK ACTING CONSERVATORY REFUND POLICY:

• •  Withdrawal 14 or more days before the first class: A refund of 90 % of the full tuition will be provided. The remaining 10 % of tuition will be retained as non transferable
      account credit for future Studio use within one year.
   
• •  Withdrawal 7 to 13 days before the first class: A refund of 75 % of the full tuition will be provided.
   
• •  Withdrawal 3 to 6 days before the first week of classes: A refund of 50 % of the full tuition will be provided.
   
• •  Withdrawal fewer than 3 days before the first class: No refunds will be issued; account credit only.

Foreign Students Requiring Visa Letters:
The Studio may, at its discretion, issue visa support letters or related documentation once a student has made a tuition payment and committed to enrollment, including participation in an approved payment plan where applicable.

Once visa related documentation has been issued by the Studio, the registration processing fee and any tuition payments made to date become non refundable. In the event a student subsequently withdraws for legitimate reasons, any remaining tuition paid will be handled in accordance with the Studio’s standard
withdrawal and refund policy and, where applicable, retained as non transferable account credit for future use. This provision does not apply in the event of a Studio initiated class cancellation or postponement.
