Intermediate to advanced level
Andrea Navedo, a working film, television, and stage actor, best known for her five-season run as a series regular on Jane the Virgin (The CW), brings her professional experience to this six-week hybrid on-camera audition class.
Actors work on-camera each week with assigned film and television sides. Material is prepared in advance and presented under audition conditions, followed by playback and direct adjustment.
The focus is on truthful behavior, specificity, listening, eyeline, stillness, and the ability to take direction and adjust.
Work is repeated and refined over the six weeks.
The first three weeks take place in person at the Studio. The final three weeks continue online, where actors apply the same process through self-tape work.
Actors are expected to arrive fully prepared and to work consistently outside of class.
This class is for intermediate to advanced actors. Admissions Selective. For actors with prior training. Submit a head shot/resume if you have one.
