Playwriting 1&2 Student To Have Play Published

Congratulations to Chelsea Rep LAB/Acting Studio Playwriting 1&2 student, Keith Filangieri, who was informed by the Riant Theatre Company that his short play, PAULA'S VISITOR, will be published as part of their next anthology of new plays. PAULA'S VISITOR came out of Anne Phelan's beginning Playwriting 1 in the fall of 2011.  Playwright Keith Filangieri claims that in his teenage years he "wanted to be Stephen King."  The play's synopsis: Two married couples are on safari in South Africa, but things do not turn out quite the way any of them had expected. The play was produced by the Riant Theatre as part of the Strawberry Play Festival in August 2012 and performed at St. Clement's on West 46th Street in Manhattan. The play was also read at The Acting Studio, Inc. in a Chelsea Rep LAB session a while back. "I am going to be published and will have a share of the Royalties! Thank you guys for making this work!" - Keith Filangieri (May 2013)
