Studio alumnus, VINCENT ARCURI, was selected to perform his one-man show BECOMING BUTCH in the 2012 NY Fringe Festival this summer.
Studio instructor and alumnus VICTOR VERHARGHE currently can be seen in a co-starring role on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. Victor has had numerous TV appearances on Law and Order.
ADAM ROTHENBURG is currently a featured principal, "Homer Jackson," in RIPPER STREET, a new HIT TV series, and formerly in ALCATRAZ, PERSON of INTEREST, THE EX LIST. Adam also appears on regional stages .
ANGELO BERKOWITZ is in HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" & the film "Delivering The Goods" w/ Dominic Fumusa. He had the lead role in stage/film versions of "Walt Whitman Never Paid For It."
ATO ESSANDOH is featured as "Dr. Matthew Freeman" in the BBC America show COPPER airing Aug 2012; he also has a pivotal role in Quentin Tarantino's film DJANGO UNCHAINED to be released DEC-2012.
Film director, Melvin James (HONEY BEE, A MIAMI TAIL), has a new short film, WHILE THE CAT'S AWAY, in the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Congratulations Melvin!
MARY RUTH will be performing in THE ABDUCTION OF BECKY MORRIS a "loopy" new play this summer in the 2012 NY Fringe Festival. Past seasons Mary was in STAGE DOOR with Chelsea Rep and ONE FLEA SPARE. Mary is currently active at the studio in the Chelsea Rep LAB.
LAUREN VELEZ is currently featured on the weekly TV series DEXTER Lauren's long career includes featured roles on UGLY BETTY, OZ, and NY UNDERCOVER, as well as film and stage roles.
Studio director, James Price, has a role in the short film YELO directed by Adrien Boublil in the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. James also filmed a principal role in SEPARATION directed by newcomer director, Shan Jin.
JULIANNA MARGULIES (Emmy Award Winner) is currently starring in THE GOOD WIFE on CBS. (See Home page article.). Julianna also played "Nurse Hathaway" on ER for which she earned her first Emmy award.
ANDREA NAVEDO filmed "Last I Heard" with Paul Sorvino & Chazz Palminteri. Prior HBO's "How To Make It In America" and "Blue Bloods." Andrea is LAB member and works in John Grabowski's professional scene study class.

Almost A Fantasy by Chelsea RepLAB playwright Michael Aguirre and directed by studio associate, John Grabowski, concluded a successful run in the 2012 NY Fringe Festival on Thursday Aug. 23. After six performances the play won the esteem of press reviewers who attended.
